What if I am new?

If you plan to visit for the first time, here are some answers to questions you may have.

How do I find your church?

We are located at the corner of Bennet St. and Ohio St., just two blocks off off Main St.

Where do I park?

Street parking is permitted on Sundays, but we have a parking lot directly across the street on Bennett.

What entrance do I use? When I enter, which way do I go?

  • Enter through the double doors directly across from the parking lot. There will be people outside on sidewalk and just inside the door ready to make you feel welcome and answer any questions you may have.  There will be a set of stairs at the entrance to the sanctuary that will take you down to the lower level where the main restrooms are, as well as the kid's space, classrooms and kitchen.
  • The upper entrance enters into the foyer with the sanctuary to your right and the connections space and nursery to your left.
  • For those with special needs, there is an elevator to the left of the main entrance. You will enter on the 2nd level. Go to the 3rd level for the main floor with the nursery, connections space, and sanctuary. Go down to the 1st floor for the kitchen and kid's space.

What should I wear?

You may dress however you are comfortable. You may see some people dressed up in skirts or slacks, while others wear jeans. Come as you are.

Where do I find the nursery?

The staffed nursery for infants and children up to 3 years is to your left as you enter the Sanctuary, or directly in front of the elevator.

Do you have children's church for kids? If so, for what ages?

We have a children's church that takes place after the start of the worship service. Once the opening medley of songs is done, adult leaders take the children downstairs to our kid's space. It is geared toward kids from 3yrs to 3rd grade. Of course, your children are welcome to stay with you if you prefer. But we think they'll enjoy and learn in an environment designed for them.

Where can I pick up information about your church?

The welcome area is located inside the connections space behind the sanctuary. There, you'll find pamphlets describing our beliefs and other free materials. While you're there, grab a snack and some coffee, water, or juice and relax at table in the connections space. When you're ready, your welcome to come join others in the sanctuary, or stay in the connections space and try us out.

How long do the services last?

Our Sunday morning service lasts just over an hour and starts at 9:30. Since we offer a connections time before and after the service, many people start arriving around 9 am to catch up with friends over coffee and a snack and may not leave until 11:30 or noon. It's a great time to encourage one another and share life together.
